So there I was on the couch, Grandpa was watching baseball on his black & white TV. A man walks up to the front door and knocks, the door was open, but the screen door was closed. Grandpa said hey (I forget his name), how are you? You haven't been by for a long time. Wondered about you and how things are going now.
.
The man said I have been wanting to come by and tell you all the latest news, but I haven't had an invitation.
.
Grandpa looked the man straight in the face, and told him, "The day you need an Invitation to come over,You are not welcome".
.That goes fo the LMA--------M.

To go right along with that remembrance. When friends of Dad and Mom's, or friends of us kids came to visit,if they were coffee drinkers, he would serve them a cup of coffed and tell them, "There, I served you your first cup of coffee. Now you are no longer a guest. If you want another cup of coffee go get it yourself." He meant that in the very best of ways.
Well talk about Grandpa,
One of the ones I remember most.
Grandpa asked me if I wanted to go for ice cream. We went to Johns place that day. I churned that ice machine for at least an hour, when it was done, grandpa told me I would have to let Marge cut my hair before I could eat any!!
What a trap! Was worth every bit of it though.
